Explorer Scouts are the 4th and most active section of the scouting sections.

Explorer Scouts are guys and girls aged 14-18 who are looking for adventure!

Lisburn has 1 main Explorer Unit, Lagan Valley Explorer Unit which meets every month and 4 sub groups which meet weekly,

Ballymacash ESU – Run by Russell McQuillan

Lisburn Cathedral ESU – Run by George Griffin

1st Hillsborough ESU – Run by Maurice Diamond

Spartan ESU- ( A joint group between, 1st Lambeg, 1st Derriaghy and 6th Lisburn ) – Run by Ian Morrow

Each groups runs their own weekly program with activities, games and badge work.  Each group comes together once per month under the ‘Lagan Valley Explorer Scouts’ Umbrella for more adventurous activities and camps.
